| The Price Is Right :: Video Slot Machines | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Brand new slot machines bring game show excitement to the casinos. These are the newest game show slot machines to come out of Las Vegas, and they are worth the wait. These are video slot machines that feature cute animation and narration by Rod Roddy himself. The game is played with five reels and nine total paylines. Matching animated contestants who wink at you and wave their arms in excitement will win you money. The real fun comes in with the bonus game. Match three special TPIR symbols, and you are on your way. Rod Roddy (in animated form) appears to call you down to contestant's row. One bonus game is called the Showcase Showdown. You get a chance to spin the big wheel, just like on the show. Try to get above 65 without going over 100, and you are in the Showdown. (This part of the game features a very funny animated elderly female contestant who jumps up and down if you win.) If you make it to the Showcase Showdown, you have a chance to win big. There are two different showcases. Touch the screen to choose squares which reveal hidden prizes like exercise equipment, jewelry, and vacations. Each prize is worth a certain amount of credits, and each prize belongs to one of the two showcases. Once you've found all the prizes in one of the showcases, you win all the credits in that showcase. Your total prize is multiplied by your original line bet. For example, if you bet 2 credits per line originally, your total prize is doubled. "The Price Is Right" is a nickel video slot machine with nine paylines. You can bet up to five nickels per line, for a total bet of 45 nickels ($2.25) per spin. I found these machines at The Rio, Harrah's, and downtown on Freemont Street. Next page > Jeopardy!
