Although Regis has hosted a game show
before ("The Neighbors"),
audiences were more familiar with Regis'
easy banter and occasional rants from
several daytime talk shows, including
the popular Live! With Regis and Kathie
Lee. But it was the friendly, enthusiastic
way he had with the contestants on ABC's
hit prime time game show that propelled
him into game show history.
