In all, Sajak has earned 6 nominations for "Outstanding Game Show Host." He won three times, in 1993, 1997 and 1998 for Wheel of Fortune.

Sajak was a DJ for the Armed Forces Radio Network in Vietnam (1968-1972).

Sajak also worked as a weatherman for KNBC in Los Angeles in the 1970s and 1980s.
