Rip Taylor was the "warm-up act" for live tapings of variety shows during the 1960s and 1970s starring Phyllis Diller and Jackie Gleason, among others. 

He recorded the voices for several shows, including Here Comes the Grump and The Addams Family. 

He has appeared in nearly a dozen films, including Amazon Women on the Moon and Wayne's World 2.
